It feels good to be back home and even better meeting up and catching up with the MHB girls the other day, when we were invited to taste the Chef’s Cuts Menu at Chili’s Grill and Bar.
This new limited time menu introduces a number of delectable beef dishes, with a tantalizing twist. The Chef’s Cuts Menu offers a more premium for patrons and is perfect for the year end while celebrating festivities with loved ones at Chili’s.
Steak lovers, you will love the dishes on the menu because they are made to cater for a market that appreciates beef.
To start off, we were served with some delicious appetizers.
A trio of Battered Chicken Crispers, Buffalo Wings and Deep Fried Southwestern Eggrolls and celery sticks to go with the dips.
The second dish we had for appetizers is tostada chips served with tomato salsa.
The first main dish was the Texas Trio (RM57.95).
If you like variety, you will like the Texas Trio. It comes with a 4 oz. salmon on slaw, topped with honey chipotle sauce, next to that is the 8 oz. beef ribs on mashed potatoes with BBQ sauce and the last of the trio is a grilled 4 oz. chicken breast on corn salsa drizzled with roasted garlic BBQ sauce, topped crumbled feta cheese and chopped fresh cilantro.

If you like something different, go for the Spicy Crab Fillet (RM85.95).
Have an 8 oz. of succulent fillet topped with Monterey Jack Cheese, crumbled Feta, and most exciting of all, spicy crab meat! Ever had steak with cheese and crab meat? You won’t regret it.
This dish is also served with Skillet Macaroni and Cheese, everyone’s comfort food.
If you are an avid lover of cheese, you won’t go wrong with the Chipotle Bleu Cheese Fillet (RM79.95).
Deliciously covered in melted blue cheese, this 8 oz. fillet rests on a bed of slaw and is served with Skillet Mashed Potatoes.
Next on the menu is the Southwest Beef Ribs Fillet (RM79.95).
This 8 oz. fillet is topped with pickled onions, crumbled feta cheese and fresh cilantro, sitting on a bed of corn salsa. This too is served with Skillet Mashed Potatoes. If you like a Southwestern classic, this is a suitable dish.
The final one is my absolute favourite! The new Glazed Prawns Fillet (RM 85.95) is topped with delicious glazed prawns, which I loved most, accompanied with corn salsa. The medley of flavours in this one won my heart after tasting all dishes.
How would you like your steak? I like mine medium rare.
Want something for dessert? Have the Chocolate Chipotle Cheesecake (RM21.95).
You will get yummy layers of chocolate chipotle cheesecake and crumbed crackers with a huge dollop of whipped cream.
When you actually try to look cute eating whipped cream and end up getting stares at the restaurant and sticky fingers.
